How long are the courses?

Online courses (tutor-supported)

100-hours: one month full-time or up to 12 months part-time

Each tutor-driven online course takes approximately 100 hours of study applied flexibly over a 12-month period. This means you can tailor your study around your lifestyle, with a minimum part-time requirement of two hours of online study per week over the year, or you can fast-track your science career by completing your course within a month or so of full-time study.

Each lesson requires you to submit a written assessment to your tutor for feedback, enhancing your learning experience by verifying your ongoing engagement with the course materials. This ensures you are not tempted to skip over a lesson that could provide vital knowledge in your field of study. There are also non-assessable, self-assessment quizzes for each lesson to help test your knowledge. This means that by the end of the course you will have really engaged with the course materials, which we know equals learning!

Short courses (self-directed)

Our short courses offer excellent value for money and an introduction into your field of study. They are self-directed learning packages, which means they don’t offer the same tutor-support as our online courses but can offer greater flexibility and economy while still providing you with the desired learning outcomes and a certificate of completion at the end of your study.

Who are the tutors?
