Coralie Campbell

Tutor Coralie developed her profound enthusiasm for digital content whilst studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media, and Marketing at the University of South Australia; combined with a TAFE certificate III in film production. She has gained considerable practical experience as junior marketing coordinator for The South Australian Potato Company, an Australian wide produce company, having full responsibility for their digital marketing strategies.
She’s dedicated herself to aiding businesses (such as Thryv) and individuals in expanding their reach and establishing a prominent presence online. Alongside this, Coralie has successfully grown and marketed her own YouTube channel. Her portfolio includes the creation of digital content featured in national magazines (Market Magazine, Harris Farm), as well as the implementation of marketing campaigns that have attracted new audiences to a range of small and large businesses across Australia, America, and Europe.

Abigail Wardeberg

With a Master’s degree in Applied Economics (specialization in Business and Managerial Analytics), coupled with extensive professional experience across multiple industries, tutor Abby brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to the realm of business analytics. Over the last few years she has shifted her focus primarily to sales analytics and sales strategy within the financial services industry.
Tutor Abby’s dedication to supporting and teaching others is evident in her previous role as a teacher’s assistant during her academic years, as well as her experience mentoring junior analysts and interns throughout her professional journey.

Katrina Schroeder

Katrina Schroeder

Katrina Schroeder is an editor, book coach, and ghostwriter, helping aspiring writers achieve their dream. She’s worked with everyone from complete beginners to seasoned authors who already have several novels under their belt. She is the founder of The Fiction Lab and has been editing and coaching for over 14 years. Katrina is a member of ACES, EFA, and has a Certificate in Editing from ACES/Poytner. She has also taken the Developmental Editing for Fiction course through the Editorial Arts Academy as well as the Author Accelerator program.

Dr. Karin Dreyer-Haasbroek

Karin’s love and passion for animals stem from growing up on a farm in South Africa. After gaining her Veterinary Science degree she worked in mixed general practice while completing a master’s degree in Veterinary Parasitology. Living and working in South Africa exposed Karin to a vast range of experiences in the clinical veterinary field: treating patients ranging from marmoset monkeys to lions to the everyday cat, dog or horse. Two years as a Laboratory Vet resulted in helping farmers tackling livestock health problems in a variety of farm production systems. Since her move to Western Australia with her family, Karin has been working in a small animal practice. During her 20 years as a vet, she has been involved in several research projects and the tutoring of students in various fields of animal science. She enjoys mentoring students and sharing her knowledge and she loves helping students flourish and realise their full potential.

Meg Anema

Meg grew up training and showing horses in youth and 4-H programs, and first taught horsemanship at a summer camp program. After obtaining Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Economics, as well as a Master of Science degree in Equine Reproductive Physiology, Meg owned and operated a commercial cattle and Quarter Horse ranch with her family. In addition to working as a certified equine artificial insemination (A.I.) and ultrasound technician, Meg developed a comprehensive, secondary Equine Studies Certificate program for the Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center (AAEC) and was awarded the American Youth Horse Council (AYHC) Partnership Award. Not only
has Meg coached national level youth horse judging teams and coordinated horse judging contests for Arizona 4-H and FFA, but Meg also managed the youth horse show at the Arizona National Livestock
Show (ANLS) for several years. Meg considers the horse to be an absolutely incredible athlete and amazing study! Aside from tutoring Careerline’s Equine Studies courses, Meg has taught courses covering a wide range of agriculture and equine related topics such as: Equine Nutrition, Equine Herd
Health, Equine Sports Medicine, Equine Reproduction, Equine Industry, Principles of Horse Evaluation, Horsemanship, Applied Genetics, Introduction to Veterinary Science, Animal Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to Animal Science and more.

Barbara Marques

Barbara’s professional journey includes a diverse range of educational achievements and extensive involvement across the sports, health, and wellbeing sectors. With a Double-Degree in Sports Science and Physical Education, complemented by certifications including a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage, a Diploma in Human Resources Management, a Certificate in Human Nutrition, and a Certificate in Aromatherapy and Medicinal Herbs, tutor Barbara has immersed herself in the health sector for over a decade.
In her industry experience, she has taught and mentored at the university level, fostering learning and growth. Simultaneously, she’s delved into hands-on roles within various sports coaching initiatives, nutritional consultancy programs, business management and customer service. Over the last three years, her main focus has been assisting students through their online education.
Tutor Barbara is  passionate about promoting health and wellbeing, and truly believes that education is essential to empower people to make the right decisions about their mental, psychological, and physical health.

Dr. Alia Zelko

Alia grew up on a farm in rural Hawaii which ignited her passion for animal science. She began university when she was 14 years old and after graduation at the age of 17 went to veterinary school at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. She has travelled the world working as a wildlife, pet, livestock, and shelter veterinarian.

She found her passion for teaching while managing conservation NGOs across Asia and the Pacific and realized that in order to truly help animals education was key. She brings over five years of experience creating curriculums and teaching a variety of subjects to people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.

Peter Palma

Peter is currently pursuing doctoral studies in fish breeding and genetics in Scotland, United Kingdom. Previously, he worked as a researcher at an ASEAN fisheries development center, where he was involved in the breeding and seed production of various aquaculture fish species. He also participated in numerous aquaculture research projects, including the development of advanced breeding techniques, environment-friendly mariculture operations, and disease management. Peter has published scientific studies in his areas of expertise and serves as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. Over the years, he has visited aquafarms in Southeast Asia, Australia, Canada, and the UK, gaining knowledge of various aquaculture technologies.

Barbara Tremain

Barbara brings to Careerline a wide range of horticultural experience and knowledge Barbara has a keen interest in herbalism, edible wild plants and has lead into studies of many plant based complementary medicinal systems, qualification as a Bach Flower remedy practitioner and studying Ethnobotany. Barbara has practiced and studied horticulture as well as combining it with her love of travel in many countries including the UK, US and Australia and has also studied Permaculture and runs her own horticulture business. Within the past two years she have also worked for Groundwork SW with 18-24 year old unemployed people, this work and the mentoring scheme has allowed me to teach informally. It has been a delight to nurture the interests of keen learners in horticulture and garden design.

Dr. Anna Balzer

Anna has completed a PhD in nutritional physiology, where her research focused on understanding the intersection between diet and physiology in metabolic syndrome. She has over 5 years’ experience in teaching anatomy and physiology to allied health, nursing, laboratory science, and pre-medical students.
She has a passion for helping students reach their full potential and foster their interest in health sciences, not only for their careers but personal wellbeing. Understanding our own anatomy and physiology is significant to every stage of our lives.

Dr. Theja Abayarathna

Theja completed her PhD in Environmental Science at the University of
Technology Sydney in 2019. Her research was centered around the effects of climate change on the egg incubation of velvet geckos in Australia. This
involves collecting wild gravid geckos and incubating their eggs under
laboratory conditions. Through exposure to a variety of incubation
temperature treatments, she has operationalized her investigation which
aimed to determine the effect of higher temperatures in the future due to
climate change on egg incubation ancd consequently on hatchling geckos.
Theja is currently working as a senior lecturer in a university while working as a wildlife researcher.She also have published her findings in several index journals. She is supervising several undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research in environmental sciences .Prior to her present endeavors within the scientific field, she has also successfully completed a B.Sc. degree, majoring in Zoology (specialised field: Wildlife Management) with first-class honors and an M.Phil. Degree in Life Sciences. Tutor Theja’s passion has always been teaching and she loves helping students with their own studies.

Chad Osorio

Tutor Chad is a recent recipient of a Full Scholarship grant from the French government for his Master II Business, Law and Economics at L’Université d’Aix-Marseille. Prior to this, he worked with the United Nations’ International Public Affairs in Cambodia; the University’s Office of Legal Aid; the Office of the Solicitor General (Philippines); and as a Research Associate at UP Law Center’s Institute of International Legal Studies. A Jack-of-all-trades, Tutor Chad received the Eisaku Sato Award for Brilliance in 2017, a global essay competition supported by the United Nations University and Prime Minister Sato’s Nobel Peace Prize. He has also been invited as a speaker at various international events such as the Int’l Conference on Human Rights and Peace & Conflict (Thailand), ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Ass’n (Viet Nam), and Asian Development Bank (Japan), among others.

Ruby Mitchell

Ruby is an experienced and fully qualified counsellor, with a first class counselling degree from the University of Plymouth (UK). She has been operating a successful and often fully booked private practice ever since qualifying in the field. Prior to this and now alongside it, Ruby works with university students 1-to-1 online and in person in a mentoring role, helping assist them with study skills, time management and prioritising their workload and helping them learn to effectively use their study time.
Ruby finds it greatly rewarding to witness the development of trainee counsellors, from learning the initial basic counselling skills all the way through to learning more advanced therapeutic techniques and reflective processes.

Adam Darragh
B.Sc. Cert IV Outdoor Education

Adam Darragh

After achieving a degree in Earth Sciences, with a focus on geology, geomorphology and climatology, Adam moved to the Blue Mountains to pursue his passion for the vertical world, where he now works in the Vocational Education Sector teaching students to be Outdoor leaders and guides. He particularly loves remote Alpine and cliff environments spending time in these areas both within Australia and abroad. This has involved many personal trips and adventures as well as becoming a fully certified IFMGA mountain and ski guide, as well as a trainer assessor with the Australian Climbing Instructors Association. The main focus of Adam’s outdoor work has been abseiling, canyoning, rock-climbing and bushwalk guiding undertaken locally in the magnificent world heritage listed greater Blue Mountains. He has also spent numerous seasons in New Zealand, the Himalaya and the Australian Snowy Mountains, alpine climbing and ski touring. Adam has also worked in Antarctica and on Macquarie Island in the sub-Antarctic, as a Field Training Officer for the Australian Antarctic Division.

Emma Tidswell

With training and qualifications in the international hospitality industry, Emma has worked with major hotel and restaurant establishments in Australia. She has collaborated with hospitality and hotel consultancies in Europe and the UK, worked with teams to create events in the hospitality and academic industries, and gained a deep understanding of the hotel, restaurant and event sector.

Having been involved with programs to assist young people gain practical qualifications and experience in the hospitality industry, Emma is passionate about helping everyone to achieve their goals in the ever-evolving world of hotel and restaurant operations.

Dr. Sophie Fletcher

Sophie gained her Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Hons I) in 2009, and worked for 5 years in medical research. A problem horse of her own and a desire to return to her passion led Sophie back to the field of equine science, conducting a study on turmeric in preventing gastric ulcers in horses to complete her Master of Animal Science in 2016, after which she began consulting as an independent equine nutritionist. Sophie is currently continuing her education again, this time in the field of regenerative agriculture, in order to better help horse owners managed sustainable pastures. Sophie also writes for horse magazines, and has experience editing academic papers.

Julia Sheen

Julia has worked as a teacher/lecturer for over 20 years and has a deep-seated passion for helping adult learners succeed. Julia is a highly accomplished and dedicated educational leader with extensive experience in curriculum management, tutor coordination and academic support within the field of psychology. She has successfully lead students through curriculum content in schools, colleges and universities as well as those pursuing psychology units through private training
organisations.
Julia’s expertise in curriculum management encompasses the development, implementation and evaluation of engaging and effective psychology curricula. She strives to achieve a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, collaboration and a deep understanding of psychological theory. She uses an array of pedagogical tools to achieve learning outcomes for students and recognises the
importance of timely, motivating and constructive feedback.
Julia is keen to engage adult learners and recognises the experiences and life skills they bring to the learning environment. She is passionate about empowering learners to not only acquire psychological knowledge, but to effectively apply it in their personal and professional lives.
